Creator workflow
Steps from first-time creator to a pack in review.
1) Become a creator
- Sign in and open Creator onboarding.
- Save display name, bio, and optional portfolio URL.
- Accept the Creator Agreement.
- Wait for active creator status (operators approve pending accounts).
Marketplace selling is separate from Free/Pro editor subscriptions.
2) Create a draft pack
- Open the Creator dashboard.
- Click New pack.
- Enter title and slug; you land in the pack editor.
3) Listing and provenance
Fill these in the pack editor and click Save. Submit is blocked without provenance fields.
- Title, description, price (USD), license tier, release notes
- Source license summary (required)
- Copyright holder (required)
- Proof URL (required)
- Attribution text when your license requires it
4) Upload assets
In Pack assets, choose overlay, terrain tile, sprite sheet, or decal, queue files, edit labels, then Upload all pending. New decal uploads use native-size passthrough ingest (no frame field). Clear failed rows before submit.
In Creator Studio, import overlays and decals into separate collections. Decals keep native width and height (max 1024 px per side) — see Decal authoring checklist.
See Authoring spec and Terrain pack checklist.
5) Submit for review
- Pack status must be draft or rejected.
- At least one pack item must be uploaded.
- Click Submit for review — status becomes pending_review and editing locks.
